• Booking data (session date/time, preferences, messages).
• Payment data (processed by Stripe). We do not store full card details—only status, method type, last4, and necessary metadata.
• Technical/usage data (IP address, device, pages visited) necessary for security and performance.
• Cookies necessary for site operation. We currently do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics, we will update this section.

• To schedule and provide lessons (online or in-person).
• To respond to inquiries and provide customer support.
• To process payments and manage invoices/receipts.
• To keep our services secure, prevent fraud/abuse, and maintain service quality.

We share personal data with trusted service providers only to the extent necessary to provide our services:

• Stripe (payments).
• Calendly (scheduling).
• Hosting/email providers and infrastructure (e.g., cloud hosting, email delivery).
• Optional analytics tools if enabled in the future.

These providers may process data in countries outside Japan.

Some providers (e.g., Stripe, Calendly, cloud hosting) may store and process data outside Japan, including the United States. Where required by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI), we obtain consent or put in place appropriate safeguards and disclose intelligible information about the transfer, including destination countries and measures taken. You can contact us to request details of the transfer mechanisms we rely on.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls, and limited retention).

We keep booking, contact, and payment records only as long as needed to deliver services and to meet legal obligations (e.g., accounting/tax). We minimize retention of payment data and rely on Stripe to store card data.
